Florida’s preacher Whitney Lynn had to be deboarded from a San Diego-bound flight as she started addressing the passengers when there was a slight delay in the plane and called it ‘God’s perfect timing’ to place their faith in Jesus. The incident took place on Thursday and now Alaska Airlines has put her on a no-fly list.Lynn posted the video on her social media and explained that no member of the cabin crew asked her to stop speaking. But an airline employee instructed her to leave, claiming that the flight crew no longer felt safe. In a statement, Alaska Airlines said the crew had become “increasingly concerned” about the passenger’s behaviour and removed her “for safety reasons.” The airline also confirmed that she has been prohibited from travelling on Alaska Airlines for the foreseeable future. Alaska Airlines’ sister carriers, Hawaiian Airlines and Horizon Air, also put her on a ban list as the incident is under review.Lynn said she was going to attend a funeral in California and found alternative travel.“Maybe he’s sparing us from danger today,” she said during the sermon, which lasted less than a minute. She was already in her seat when she was escorted out. Lynn repeatedly asked why she was being removed and described the incident as ‘spiritual warfare.’“Demons don’t like the name of Jesus,” she said as she was leaving. “We are in the last days. We are being persecuted, persecuted to be a Christian,” she said. “I didn’t know the message of Jesus Christ was unsafe,” she said. ‘So freedom of speech is not safe?’Lynn continued preaching after leaving the plane and claimed that she managed to convert two people. She told The Washington Post earlier that she preached on most flights and recorded the sermons for social media. “They have no choice but to hear the truth,” she said of her fellow passengers. “When I have a gift and I have a life raft, if you’re drowning, I want to give you that life raft so you can be saved.”
