Nigeria’s Future Eagles U-15 National Team have safely arrived in Abuja following their participation in the 2026 FIFA U-15 World Cup & Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The team returned aboard Turkish Airlines after representing the country at the international youth tournament.
Special recognition goes to Prosperity Samuel Anionovo, the talented defender of Buruj Sports Academy, who proudly represented Nigeria at the tournament and scored against Panama.
Buruj Sports Academy also celebrated Coach Bassey Patrick, Head Coach of the Academy, for his dedication and contribution to developing young football talents.
According to the Academy, Anionovo’s international exposure represents another important milestone for Buruj Sports Academy and reinforces its commitment to producing future Nigerian internationals.
The Academy congratulated the entire Future Eagles delegation on their return home.
