The presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 general election, Peter Obi, has urged Nigerians who are yet to register for their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) to do so, describing the exercise as a vital step toward shaping the country’s future.
Speaking on the importance of voter registration, Obi said obtaining a PVC gives citizens the opportunity to elect competent leaders capable of delivering better roads, quality education, and improved healthcare services.
He stressed that participating in the electoral process is not only a civic responsibility but also a chance for Nigerians to contribute to building a better nation for future generations.
“Everyone who has not yet registered for their PVC should go and do so. It gives you the opportunity to elect competent leaders who can deliver better roads, quality schools, and improved healthcare. It’s your chance to contribute to building a better country for your children and the future of Nigeria,” Obi said.
