“God Will Continue To Bless Me Right In Your Face”- Nkechi Blessing Blasts Troll After Movie Hits 1 Million Views

Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing has responded to an online troll who challenged her to attract one million views on her YouTube movie, after the actress achieved the milestone.

The actress took to her social media page to share a screenshot of a message from a troll who had expressed doubts about her ability to pull such numbers.

In the message, the troll challenged Nkechi Blessing to prove her critics wrong by getting one million views on her next movie. The individual also compared her work unfavourably with that of other entertainers, including Wunmi Toriola, and claimed that she would rather watch Teletubbies than watch the actress’s movie.

The troll also referenced Phyna’s movies, claiming that some of them had attracted impressive viewership. The individual further accused Phyna of allowing herself to be used by Nkechi Blessing and argued that the actress’s online popularity would not translate into real support when she needed it most.

The troll wrote:

“Please surprise us and pull 1 million views on your next movie. I would rather watch Teletubbies than watch your movie when the likes of Wunmi Toriola and co are available. At least I have watched some of Phyna’s movies that really pulled in views. She is the one I blame for letting you use her foolishly. Clout only lasts 24 hours. It’s not internet people. They won’t turn up for you when you really need them”.

However, Nkechi Blessing has now responded after her movie crossed the one-million-view mark on YouTube, using the achievement to address the troll’s earlier challenge.

Reacting to the development, the actress questioned the troll about her reaction to the milestone, reminding her that she had previously challenged her to achieve the feat.

Addressing the troll as Foluke, Nkechi Blessing said she had faced criticism and humiliation on social media but remained committed to her work, crediting her consistency and God’s grace for helping her move forward.

She also recalled that the troll had promised to reveal her real identity if she eventually achieved one million views. However, the actress said she was no longer interested in knowing the person behind the account, adding that she believed God would continue to bless her despite the criticism.

Nkechi Blessing wrote:

“Dear Foluke, Abeg how e come be now? You think you’re God? You people have shamed me with everything on this internet space, but one thing was certain: consistency and the Grace to carry on. You said if I hit 1 million views, you would reveal your real face behind this fake account. I am really not interested in knowing who you are, but as long as God lives, he will continue to bless me right in your face, and you will stay alive to witness every single milestone, in Jesus name”.

The actress’s response has since drawn attention to her achievement, with the exchange highlighting the tension between her and the social media critic who had questioned her ability to attract a million views.
