A man has sparked reactions online after sharing the story of a boyfriend who allegedly failed not one but two loyalty tests set up by his girlfriend and her friend.
According to the narrator, the young man had only been dating his girlfriend for two weeks when he received a random WhatsApp message from one of her friends. What started as a casual conversation soon turned flirty before the friend invited him to her house.
Without suspecting anything, the boyfriend reportedly dressed up and headed to the location, only to be left speechless when his actual girlfriend opened the door.
In his words, he wrote:
“He tried to defend himself, saying, ‘Baby, calm down, na normal visit.’ But she brought out another phone and showed him all the chats between him and her friend. That’s when he realised he had entered one chance.”
The man explained that the girlfriend admitted she had arranged the conversation with her friend to test her boyfriend’s loyalty.
Although the relationship became strained afterwards, the boyfriend allegedly continued chatting with the same friend after she apologised and claimed she had only participated because her friend insisted.
Believing the apology was genuine, the boyfriend allegedly accepted another invitation to the friend’s house. However, on getting there, he was once again greeted by his girlfriend, who had been waiting for him.
“Guess who opened the door again? His girlfriend. Bro failed the same exam twice with extra time and correction sheet. Honestly, some people are not victims. They are just committed to self-destruction,” he added.
The story has since generated mixed reactions online, with many social media users questioning the boyfriend’s decisions, while others argued that the girlfriend’s repeated loyalty tests were equally questionable.
