‎”He gave me” – Blord recounts first encounter with Sowore after being granted bail

‎Cryptocurrency mogul, Blord has shared his first encounter with human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore following his release from Kuje Correctional Center.

‎Blord, currently embroiled in a high-profile lawsuit with VeryDarkMan, shared details of his encounter with Sowore during a brief interview.

‎Blord Speaks Out After Release From Kuje prison

‎During the interview, Blord disclosed that he had never met or spoken with Sowore via phone call.

Upon being aware of his detention in Kuje Prison, Sowore intervened and secured his release before his scheduled bail hearing.

‎”When he heard I was being intimated, he had to step in. As a matter of fact , I was suppose to be in Kuje prison till today, my bail hearing was set for 27th“, He stated during the interview.

‎According to Blord, he visited Sowore to express gratitude for his efforts in securing his release.

During the visit, he was gifted a beret and announced his membership to the revolution team.

‎”He gave me a beret.I’m among the revolution team now”, He added.

Blord Remanded In Kuje Prison

Earlier, GistReel reported that Blord was and remanded in Kuje prison on April 1, 2026, over allegations of impersonating VeryDarkMan and forgery.

He was granted bail on April 17, 2025, and submitted his international passport as part of the conditions.

The allegations stem from a dispute with VeryDarkMan, who accused Blord of using his identity without consent to promote business ventures, including forging flight tickets and claiming a ₦500 million endorsement deal.
