Nollywood actress Blessing Obasi has opened up about the touching reaction of her husband, fellow actor Stan Nze, after she received a bigger paycheck for a movie role in 2017.
During an interview on Morayo Afolabi’s YouTube show, Blessing revealed that she was thrilled when the producers of Castle and Castle offered her ₦600,000 for her role in the movie.
The actress said she immediately shared the news with Stan Nze, who was her boyfriend at the time. According to her, rather than feeling discouraged that she had earned more than him, Stan celebrated her achievement and prayed for her, assuring her that it was only the beginning of greater things.
Blessing explained that Stan was earning ₦100,000 at the time, yet he genuinely supported her success and reminded her of her potential.
She noted that his reaction showed the kind of love and encouragement he had for her, as he was happy to see her grow and succeed despite their different financial situations at the time.
