Nigerian social media personality Bobrisky has reacted to the rising cost of petrol in Nigeria, questioning the sharp increase in fuel prices and the recurring challenges faced by motorists.
Bobrisky expressed disbelief over the current pump price of petrol, particularly as some Nigerians are reportedly paying as much as ₦1,600 per litre.
Speaking about the situation, he compared his experience in Nigeria with his time living abroad, noting that he had not encountered similar situations during his two years outside the country.
“Why is fuel ₦1,600 per litre? In my two years of living abroad, I have never experienced fuel scarcity or ridiculous fuel increases overnight” he said.
His comment comes amid concerns over the rising cost of petrol and the impact of fuel price increases on Nigerians.
The development has continued to generate discussions among Nigerians, with many expressing concerns about how the rising cost of fuel affects transportation, businesses and the general cost of living.
