Delta State Governor’s aide, Ossai Ovie Success, has stirred reactions online after expressing disappointment over the speed of Peller and Jarvis’ marriage while hoping the newlyweds signed a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot.
In a post shared on social media, Ossai congratulated the couple but said he was concerned about how quickly the marriage happened, given their fame, wealth and online influence. According to him, a prenup is not about planning for divorce but about protecting both parties and preventing future disputes over assets, businesses and brand deals.
He wrote, “I hope Peller and Jarvis signed a prenup before getting married. Congratulations to them, but I am disappointed… Marriage is sweet, but marriage + money + fame + internet? That one needs wisdom.” He added that, “Signing a prenup doesn’t mean you’re planning divorce. It means you’re planning the marriage like adults.”
The post comes shortly after Peller and Jarvis officially exchanged vows in a court wedding in Ikoyi, with their traditional and white wedding ceremonies expected to follow later this week.
The remarks have since generated mixed reactions online, with some agreeing that a prenup is a sensible step for public figures, while others questioned why Ossai described himself as “disappointed.”

Two consenting adults came together and if it happens otherwise later still two consenting adults. For their ages they have done so well for themselves. Congratulations are in order.”
