A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations online after revealing that her former partner revoked her access to his Netflix and Amazon Prime accounts following comments she made about him on social media.
The lady, whose identity was not disclosed, shared her frustration in a video, explaining that her ex-boyfriend’s decision came after she described him as “weird” and expressed regret over featuring him in some of her previous videos.
According to her, although she admitted making those remarks, she felt removing her from the streaming platforms was an unnecessary reaction. She argued that her comments should not have resulted in losing access to accounts she had previously enjoyed using.
“My ex just logged me out of his Netflix and Prime because I said he is weird and I regret meeting him in my videos. That doesn’t mean he should remove me,” she said.
The incident has since attracted mixed reactions from social media users, with some people supporting the man’s decision to take back access to his personal subscriptions, while others sympathised with the lady and viewed the action as petty.
