“I Sold My Phone And Sent Him ₦10,000”- Seyi Vibez Reveals Shocking Length He Went To In Bid To Join Wizkid’s Label

Nigerian singer Seyi Vibez has revealed how his childhood dream of joining Wizkid’s Starboy Records label at the age of 13 led to him being scammed.

The singer recalled that he searched Google for information on how to secure a deal with the record label and eventually found a phone number which he believed could help him.

According to Seyi Vibez, the person behind the number asked him to pay ₦10,000 as part of the process.

Determined to achieve his dream, the singer said he sold his phone and sent the money to the person, only to realise that he had been scammed.

“I had wanted to sign to Wizkid’s Starboy Record label at 13, then I searched on Google ‘How to sign to Starboy Record’😭😂 I saw one number, then I called the number. The person asked me to pay ₦10,000 and then I sold my phone and sent him the money.”😭🙆💔😂 — Seyi Vibez
