Music star Davido has shared an interesting story about how he met and used the female video vixen for his popular hit, ‘Aye’.
In an interview with Capital Xtra, he said a pageant beauty queen was meant to be the lead. Unfortunately, her manager disrupted it.
According to him, they were on set for the shoot when her manager called, saying the pageant organisers had reminded them that she was under contract and couldn’t be used for the music video.
Davido said after much thought and to avoid wasting time and rescheduling, they ended up using the pageant queen’s makeup artist.
The story has left many ladies wishing they could find themselves in such a grass-to-grace story.

In an interview earlier this year, the ‘ Dami Duro’ crooner announced plans to begin a Master’s degree in Political Science at a university in the UK. The Babcock University graduate said he would be putting music on hold and wouldn’t drop an album till he was done.
Davido’s manager, Asa Asika, reflected on his journey, noting that Davido ran from school to chase his dream and that the school is telling that story.

The music star had bragged as he reflected on his musical journey. In a tweet, he said that since he entered the game, nobody has had peace, and admitted that he loved that effect.
