The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has commended the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Ikeja Local Government Chapter, for its continued prayers for the peace, unity and stability of Nigeria.
Comrade Dauda, represented by his Special Adviser on Special Duties, Hon. Dada Adams, spoke on Thursday at CAN’s monthly prayer meeting held at the Ikeja Local Government Secretariat.

He urged religious leaders to sustain prayers for the country’s leaders and promote messages that encourage peace, unity and national development. He also called for continued support for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to consolidate ongoing reforms and development across the country.
Special prayers were offered for Ikeja Local Government, Hon. James Faleke, the APC and other stakeholders in Ikeja.

The Chapter Coordinator of CAN in Ikeja Local Government, Senior Evangelist Rotimi Olufemi Ajayi, commended Comrade Dauda for maintaining close engagement with the Christian community and keeping them informed about the activities of the council.
Ajayi assured the Chairman of CAN’s continued prayers and support, describing the administration’s developmental efforts as visible and worthy of encouragement.

The meeting also featured special intercessions for President Tinubu, Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, APC leaders and candidates, the leadership and staff of Ikeja Local Government, and their families, with prayers for enduring peace, unity and sustainable development in Nigeria.
