“It Was A Total Bad Experience”- Cubana Chief Priest Laments Benin Visit

Nigerian businessman and socialite Paschal Okechukwu, popularly known as Chief Priest, has expressed disappointment over the condition of some roads and facilities in Benin City, Edo State.

Chief Priest shared his experience in a post on Instagram, where he raised concerns about the state of infrastructure he encountered during his visit to the city.

According to the socialite, poor roads were not only found in less developed parts of Benin, as he claimed that some areas within the Government Reserved Area (GRA) were also affected.

He specifically called attention to the road leading to the Government House, describing it as being in extremely poor condition.

Chief Priest also narrated an unpleasant experience at Protea Hotel in Benin, alleging that he got trapped inside the hotel’s elevator.

The incident, he said, added to what he described as an overall unpleasant experience during his stay in the city.

Comparing Benin City with Owerri, Imo State, Chief Priest admitted that his hometown also has roads that require attention, particularly in some streets.

However, he said his experience in Benin made Owerri appear much better by comparison.

His words…

“Benin Wey there GRA get bad roads, even there government house road Dey extremely bad, there elevator for protea hotel trap me inside, it was a total bad experience in Benin . Pray for Benin them really need help, Owerri get some bad roads oh especially streets but my Owerri be like Europe to Benin.”
