Nightlife entrepreneur Tosin Akinbo has explained why a bottle of champagne that costs N200,000 outside a club could be sold for as much as N550,000 inside a nightclub.
Akinbo made the statement while discussing the economics of nightlife and what customers are actually paying for when they purchase expensive drinks at clubs.
According to him, the price goes beyond the champagne itself, as customers are also paying for the experience that comes with consuming it in a nightclub.

His explanation has since generated reactions from Nigerians on X, with some users arguing that the additional cost is unnecessary.
