A young fish farmer has taken to social media to express his heartbreak after losing several fish in his pond in what he described as a devastating disaster.
The farmer, who shared his experience online, said he had encountered fish mortality in his years of running the business but had never witnessed anything as devastating as what happened to his pond.
According to him, everything appeared normal when he visited the pond the previous day. He explained that he had changed the water and left, believing that everything was in good condition.
However, upon returning the following day, he was shocked to discover that several of his fish had died, leaving him devastated by the unexpected loss.
Expressing his frustration, the young farmer said:
“I have experienced mortality in my years of fish farming, but what happened today is not mortality; it’s a disaster that has struck my fish pond.”
His account has drawn attention to the challenges faced by fish farmers, particularly the financial losses that can result from sudden fish deaths.
