Nollywood actor and skit maker Kamo State has expressed his appreciation to veteran actress Funke Akindele for publicly supporting his latest movie, Starlomo.
Akindele’s absence from the movie’s premiere had reportedly sparked questions among some fans, who noticed that the actress was not present at the event.
However, she later showed her support for the project by sharing the movie’s trailer on her Instagram page.
The actress urged her followers to see the film in cinemas, describing it as a good movie while also wishing Kamo State success at the box office.
Her gesture appeared to demonstrate her support for the actor despite her absence from the premiere.
Reacting to the show of support, Kamo State took to Instagram on Saturday, September 26, to thank the actress for promoting his movie.
“Iyamiiii have spoken, Iyamiiiiiiii thank you so so much, God bless you for all you do,” he wrote.
The actor also offered prayers for Akindele’s children, expressing hope that they would continue to find favour wherever they go.
“Your children shall find favor everywhere they go too,” Kamo added.
He concluded his message by repeatedly thanking the actress and acknowledging her support for his latest project.

The court had rejected the case filed by the Registered Trustees of Break the Silence Foundation, ruling that the foundation lacked the legal capacity to bring the action and had failed to provide the original police investigation report to support its claims.
Reacting in an Instagram post, VeryDarkMan questioned why the case could not be reopened and suggested that certain individuals could face problems if a fresh investigation was conducted.

“The question is what harm will it do if the mohbad case is RE-OPENED? Wunmi and iyabo and co will be in trouble that’s the truth.”
His comment comes after the court ruling sparked fresh reactions online, with supporters and critics of efforts to revisit the circumstances surrounding Mohbad’s de@th expressing different views.
The latest court decision does not amount to a determination of any individual’s criminal liability. The court’s ruling was focused on the legal standing and evidentiary basis of the particular suit seeking a fresh police investigation.
