Kizz Daniel drops first single of 2026

The track features Young Jonn, Krizbeatz and Wave Choir

Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has released ‘Owo Oluwa’, his first official single of 2026 and the lead single from his forthcoming album, Radio Gidi.

Kizz Daniel had teased the release on X, posting “RG OTW – NEW MUSIC MIDNIGHT” alongside a link to the song and a short visual promoting Radio Gidi.

The release comes after the singer announced plans to release two albums in 2026: Radio Gidi and Uncle K.

The song opens with a house-influenced sound before Kizz Daniel delivers the opening vocals.

Kizz Daniel then comes in with “Owo Oluwa nbe,” followed by Wave Choir’s “Onbe onbe” refrain, while Krizbeatz builds the track with heavier beats.

Young Jonn also contributes vocals to the song.

The lyrics centre on themes of God’s blessings and gratitude, giving the track a spiritual tone alongside its dance-oriented production.

The release is the first official single from Kizz Daniel this year and begins the rollout for Radio Gidi.

Earlier in the year, the singer announced plans to rebuild his record label, FlyBoy INC, and opened applications for positions within the company.

In May, he also announced plans to release two albums in 2026, Radio Gidi and Uncle K, while thanking fans for their patience as he worked on the projects.

Born Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe, Kizz Daniel rose to prominence in 2015 with his hit single ‘Woju’.

He has since released songs including ‘Buga’, ‘Cough’ and ‘Twe Twe’, establishing himself as one of Nigeria’s prominent Afrobeats artists.

His 2025 project, Uncle K: Lemon Chase, featured FOLA, Odumodublvck and Bella Shmurda, among others.

His last full-length album, Maverick, was released in 2023.

With ‘Owo Oluwa’, Kizz Daniel has begun the rollout for Radio Gidi, with further details about the album expected as the project progresses.
