A lady has gone viral on social media after revealing how a man she barely knew surprised her with a ₦600,000 cash gift simply to celebrate her university graduation.
The lady, identified on X as @theBigMira_, shared screenshots of their direct messages alongside proof of the bank transfer after announcing that she had graduated.
According to the conversation, the man first congratulated her before expressing his desire to celebrate the milestone in a more meaningful way.
Although she politely declined, insisting that his congratulatory message was enough, he remained determined and requested her bank account details.
Man insists on sending graduation gift
In the chat, the man wrote, “I want to congratulate you properly tho, life after school isn’t easy. Not much just a little something.”
Responding, the graduate said, “Awwn thank you, I really appreciate but your “congratulations” is enough”
The benefactor, however, replied, “I insist, send your account details.”
After eventually sending her account information, the lady was stunned to receive an alert showing ₦600,000 had been transferred into her account.
Reacting to the unexpected gesture, she wrote, “Somebody pinch me, Jesus you said it was something small. This isn’t small now. Thank you so much.”
The man later responded, “You’re welcome I wish you all the best in the labour market.”

Sharing the experience on X, the graduate expressed her gratitude, writing, “I couldn’t post this yesterday cause I was in shock, there are still good men out there. I’m really grateful for this.”
