The fight for the 2025/26 Premier League crown between Arsenal and Manchester City is not yet over, as City close the gap after a deserved 3-0 victory over Brentford on Saturday evening, news.ng reports.
City are just two points behind leaders Arsenal with three matches left before the end of the season.
The Citizens endured a tough first 45 minutes, with both sides going into half-time goalless. However, the game came alive in the second half when City’s Jeremy Doku broke the deadlock in the 60th minute to put his side in the lead.
Erling Haaland doubled the advantage 15 minutes later, while Omar Marmoush sealed the victory in the 90+2 minute of added time.
City are now on 74 points, while Arsenal lead with 76 points.
