The MasterChef Nigeria competition, sponsored by top corporate bodies, is nearing its conclusion, with two contestants left standing in the race for the N73 million grand prize.
There was hardly a dry eye in the kitchen as fan favourite David bowed out in one of the season’s most emotional episodes, leaving Fads and Favy as the final two contestants competing for the top prize.
With the grand finale drawing close, the Top 3 walked into the kitchen to find an elegantly set dining table and an exquisite signature dish prepared by Chef Eros and Chef Stone.
After tasting the meal alongside the judges, they were presented with what would become the defining challenge of their MasterChef journey: recreating the dish with absolute precision to secure a place in the finale.
There were no second chances, and with Favy’s immunity pin already used, all three contestants competed on equal footing.
Chef Stone cautioned that precision would be their ally and panic their undoing as the clock began ticking.
For Fads, the challenge turned out to be her finest moment. Calm, focused and technically sharp, she delivered a dish that impressed the judges with its flawless execution, balanced flavours and refined presentation, earning her Dish of the Day and securing her spot as the first finalist.
Favy also rose to the occasion, presenting a dish praised for its taste and the composure she showed under pressure.
