Mayon Volcano in the Philippines has erupted with smoke, as pictured, filling the sky on Saturday.
Thick smoke engulfed the areas of Sua, Camalig, Albay, following the eruption.
In one clip shared online, the sky turns completely black, bringing darkness to the area during the middle of the day.
Philippines Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said in a statement: “Alert Level 3 remains in effect over Mayon Volcano. Entry into the 6-km Permanent Danger Zone should be prohibited.”
