For England, Mbappe’s Real Madrid teammate, Jude Bellingham, came clutch, bagging a brace to bail England out in their 2-1 comeback victory over Norway.
In intense Florida heat and humidity, a shaky England fell behind on 36 minutes through Andreas Schjelderup’s rasping shot from the left. But Bellingham equalised in the first-half stoppage time and bagged the winner in extra-time for the Three Lions to advance to the semi-final.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi is closely following Mbappe in the race for the Golden Boot, although he did not score as the defending champions saw off Switzerland 3-1 to march to the semi-final of the World Cup.
