Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has opened up about his monthly spending habits, revealing that he spends between $200,000 and $300,000 every month, an amount he says does not include expenses for his wife and other members of his household.
The singer made the revelation while speaking about his lifestyle, financial responsibilities, and the cost of maintaining his standard of living. According to him, his monthly personal expenses run into hundreds of thousands of dollars, which translates to over ₦300 million based on current exchange rates.
Davido explained that the figure only covers his own expenses and does not account for the financial commitments attached to his wife or other members of his family.
“I spend between $200,000 and $300,000 (over ₦300 million) every month and that doesn’t even include my wife’s expenses or the rest of my household,” he said.
The singer, who is known for his lavish lifestyle, philanthropy, and global music career, has often spoken about the responsibilities that come with success. Beyond his music earnings, Davido is also recognised for supporting family members, friends, and associates within his circle.
