Nigerian Woman Dies of Cardiac Arrest While Visiting UK, Family Seeks £10,000 to Repatriate Her Body

A Nigerian woman, Christiana Nwosu, has reportedly died after suffering a cardiac arrest while on a visit to the United Kingdom, leaving her children, family and loved ones in mourning.

According to reports, Christiana passed away on July 19, 2026. She was remembered by those who knew her as a kind and compassionate woman whose warmth and generosity touched many lives.

A GoFundMe appeal launched on behalf of her family revealed that about £10,000 is needed to repatriate her remains to Nigeria, where she will be laid to rest alongside her extended family and ancestors.

The fundraiser stated that the money would cover the cost of transporting her body back to Nigeria as well as other funeral-related expenses. The tragic incident has since sparked an outpouring of condolences and emotional reactions on social media.
