Nigerian comedian and social media influencer Mr Jollof has stirred reactions online after showering praise on the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, while applauding the ongoing transformation of Abuja.
In a statement that quickly gained attention across social media, the influencer compared Nigeria’s capital city to the French capital, Paris, citing what he described as remarkable infrastructural development.
According to Mr Jollof:
“Abuja is like Paris now, this is our own Eiffel Tower. Nigeria is so beautiful, God bless FCT Minister, Wike.”
His comments have sparked mixed reactions from Nigerians. While many agreed that Abuja has witnessed noticeable improvements in infrastructure and urban development, others argued that more attention should also be given to challenges such as the cost of living, public services, and development in other parts of the country.
