The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course will commence nationwide on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.
In a statement on Monday, the scheme said the three-week orientation exercise would hold simultaneously in all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), ending on Tuesday, August 25.
NYSC said call-up numbers had been uploaded to the dashboards of prospective corps members, while call-up letters would be released in due course.
The Director-General of the NYSC, Brigadier General Olakunle Nafiu, congratulated the prospective corps members on completing their studies and qualifying for national service.
“I congratulate all prospective Corps Members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Service Year on the successful completion of their studies in higher institutions within and outside Nigeria, which has qualified them for national service,” Nafiu said.
He also urged them to prioritise their safety while travelling to their orientation camps.
“I wish you all a safe journey to your respective Orientation Camps and strongly advise you to avoid travelling at night. Strictly adhere to all travel and safety guidelines throughout your journey to the camps,” he said.
