Social media influencer Jima Emmanuel has sparked widespread debate after openly stating that she has no desire to date a man who is financially struggling, insisting she prefers a partner who is financially secure.
Speaking in a video that has since gone viral, the content creator explained that she is fully aware of her expensive lifestyle and believes it is better to be with someone who can comfortably afford it rather than endure financial hardship in a relationship.
Sharing her thoughts, she said:
“A poor man has no place in my heart. I no wan suffer person son oo. It’s not me that will drain you because I’m the kind of girl that if you give me ₦1 million today, the next day I’ll want ₦2 million.
You give me ₦2 million, the next day I’ll want 3,4,5 million. I’m never satisfied. So I want to be with a man that I know is financially stable enough.”
Jima also had a message for men who disagree with her opinion, urging them to channel their energy into building wealth instead of criticizing her personal preference.
According to her, her passion for money is so strong that it even reflects in her dreams.
She continued:
“And if you’re a man and you think I’m saying nonsense, go and work, go and make money. Your mates are spending their house rent on food. Me, I like money. I don’t care. Even in my dreams, I like money. A poor man has no place in my heart.”
