PR Primus Limited, a public relations consultancy and promoter of the Your Image PR programme on Ogun State Television, has appointed three prominent academics and professionals into its administrative team as part of efforts to strengthen public relations scholarship and professional practice in Nigeria.
The newly appointed administrators are Prof. Dele Odunlami, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye; legal practitioner and public relations expert, Barrister Karibi George; and Dr. Joshua Suleiman of Babcock University.
The appointments were announced by the Managing Director of PR Primus Limited and Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Akin Okudero, in a statement made available on Saturday.
According to Okudero, the appointments are designed to advance public relations education, promote ethical standards, and position the organisation for greater professional impact.
Odunlami, described as the first Professor of Mass Communication with a specialisation in Broadcast Journalism, currently serves as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
George is a legal counsel, mediator and communications solutions professional. He is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations and a former chairman of the instituteās Rivers State chapter.

Suleiman, a lecturer in the Department of Mass Communication at Babcock University, was described as a distinguished scholar and practitioner with expertise in public relations, media and marketing communications.
Okudero said the new administrators would work alongside existing members of the management team, including Dare Folarin, to promote scholarly engagement and international best practices in public relations.
He added that the appointments would also encourage greater youth participation in the profession while advancing ethical values and supporting national development.
āThe new administrators are expected to stimulate scholarly discourse, sustain international standards and embrace youth participation in promoting public relations values, ethical practices and the evolution of the profession for sustainable national development and national unity,ā he said.
PR Primus Limited publishes PR Primus Magazine, operates an online public relations news platform, and produces the Your Image PR television programme aired on Ogun State Television.
