Nigerian media personality Morayo Afolabi Brown has paid a heartfelt tribute to late Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo following his burial.
Reports confirm that the actor’s remains were brought to his father’s compound in Arochukwu, Abia State, where funeral rites began with a wake-keep attended by family members, friends, and several colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Prominent Nollywood stars including Ini Edo, IK Ogbonna, Mike Godson, Omoni Oboli, and Ayo Makun were among those present to pay their last respects.
On Thursday, June 18, the actor was laid to rest in an emotional ceremony marked by tears and grief from loved ones and admirers.
Taking to her Instagram page, Morayo Afolabi Brown expressed deep sorrow over his passing, noting that she remembers him with gratitude and love. She added that while the loss is painful, there is comfort in the impact he made and the lives he touched.
She also revealed that she and her TV show team are keeping the bereaved family in their thoughts and prayers, urging the late actor to rest peacefully as his legacy continues to live on.
