A UK-based businessman has reportedly been left stranded after his girlfriend, whom he allegedly brought from Nigeria and paid tuition fees for during a two-year pre-nursing programme, refused to add him as her dependant after securing her Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS).
The account was shared online by Facebook user Folowosele Adeboye, who said the man brought his girlfriend to the UK two years ago and covered all her tuition fees after completing his own studies.
According to the post, the woman completed her nursing programme two months ago and secured her CoS last month. However, she has allegedly told her boyfriend that she would not add him as a dependant.
She reportedly accused him of cheating while he was still in Nigeria and allegedly having twins with another woman. The post further claimed that she accused him of continuing the alleged infidelity even after their relocation to the UK.
The development has sparked mixed reactions online, with some users sympathising with the woman while others focused on the financial sacrifice allegedly made by the man.

@EmekaVince3947: That’s a painful lesson, You can support someone wholeheartedly, but you can’t force loyalty or gratitude Sometimes the biggest betrayal comes from the person you sacrificed the most for. 💔
@efiakpowore: Watch and learn Watch and learn
@Khendocee: That’s a painful situation, especially after supporting her financially for two years. Infidelity aside, this is a reminder that relationships and major sacrifices should come with genuine trust and commitment from both sides.
