Tension reportedly gripped parts of Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, after a group of men believed to be of Fulani extraction were allegedly spotted moving suspiciously around the community with a bag said to contain a large amount of cash, a dagger, and a bullet belt.
According to reports circulating within the area, concerned residents quickly intercepted the men after noticing their unusual movements. The discovery of the items allegedly found in their possession sparked fear and suspicion among community members.
