A Nigerian landlady has sparked reactions online after reportedly expressing frustration with her tenants and questioning why she has continued to experience unrest since they moved into her property.
In a statement making the rounds on social media, the landlady appeared to take a swipe at her tenants following reports of repeated disagreements and altercations within the compound.
Expressing her displeasure, she reportedly said: “Since you started living in my apartment, I haven’t had peace anymore. Shey you say na landlord I be, I no be God? Now, who is sending you packing?”
Her remarks suggested that she had grown tired of the constant disagreements and was no longer comfortable with the atmosphere in her property.
The landlady’s reaction reportedly came after several altercations among occupants of the compound, which allegedly prompted her to ask the tenants to vacate the property.
The incident has since drawn attention online, with social media users weighing in on the challenges landlords face when dealing with troublesome tenants and disagreements among occupants of shared residential buildings.
