According to reports circulating on social media, the supporters reportedly fought back following the alleged attack, resulting in chaos at the scene.
Amid the incident, a voice was heard questioning the state of democracy in Enugu and Nigeria, expressing concern over the alleged violence against political supporters.
“Are we still practising democracy here in Enugu and Nigeria? Security operatives should hand gūns over to us since…” the individual said.
