“You’ll Have To Defend Your Candidate” – Rivers Woman Raises Alarm After People Mistake Her Shirt For APC Campaign Clothing

A Rivers State woman has warned that the streets of Port Harcourt could become tense ahead of the 2027 elections after people mistook her shirt for APC campaign clothing.

The woman shared her concerns following the experience, suggesting that residents wearing clothes bearing politicians’ names could face questions about their preferred candidates as political activities intensify ahead of the polls.

“The streets of Port Harcourt will be really brut@l ahead of the 2027 elections. Any shirt you wear bearing a politician’s name, you will have to explain to people why they should vote for that person,” she said.

Her comments have sparked reactions on X, with users making jokes about wearing campaign shirts in the city and expressing concerns about the political atmosphere in Rivers State.
