Residents of Edo State have called out Governor Monday Okpebholo over the poor condition of roads across the state, lamenting the difficulties they face while trying to move around.
In a complaint circulating on social media, residents described the situation as unbearable, claiming that some roads had become so terrible that even car owners struggled to drive on them.
“We are suffering in Edo State. We have cars but can’t even drive them because of how terrible the roads are,” the complaint read.
The concerns have sparked reactions on X, where several Nigerians criticised the state government and questioned the condition of infrastructure in Edo.
