Popular social media activist and commentator Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has reacted to the ongoing investigation into the alleged ₦1.6 billion fraud involving a Nepalese businessman.
In a post shared on his social media page, VeryDarkMan disclosed that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) reportedly arrested the prime suspect connected to the case on Wednesday night.
According to him, the development suggests that the matter may be more complex than he initially believed.
He further alleged that the investigation could extend beyond the arrested suspect, claiming that the Managing Director of Azman Airlines might also be significantly linked to the case.
“The man who sc@mmed the Nepalese businessman of ₦1.6 billion was arrested yesterday night by the EFCC. This matter is deeper than I initially thought. It looks like the MD of Azman Airlines might actually be deeply involved,” VeryDarkMan stated.
His comments have sparked widespread reactions online, with many Nigerians closely following the investigation and awaiting an official statement from the EFCC regarding the circumstances surrounding the alleged fraud and the identities of those involved.
