Popular Nigerian social commentator Verydarkman has issued a strong warning to the organizers and promoters of Tyla’s planned concert in Nigeria, insisting that the event will not hold.
The outspoken activist made his position known while reacting to the South African singer’s upcoming performance in the country, stating that efforts to host the show would be unsuccessful.
According to Verydarkman, Nigerians should not expect to see Tyla perform in Nigeria, as he believes the concert should not go ahead amid recent controversies surrounding issues involving South Africa and Nigerians.
“There will be no Tyla show in Nigeria. The show will not be happening,” he stated, sending a direct message to those behind the event.
His comment has since generated mixed reactions online, with some Nigerians supporting his stance while others argued that separating an artiste from political and social issues is important.
