A Nigerian businessman has expressed frustration over the country’s economic situation, revealing that he has been forced to shut down his business for the third time due to mounting financial challenges.
In a statement reflecting his struggles, the businessman blamed the harsh economic climate for the repeated failure of his business ventures, saying he has tried different businesses in a bid to survive but has continued to suffer losses.
“I feel so heartbroken right now. This man is the worst president in history. This is the third time I’m closing my business because of how bad our economy is. There is no profit at the end of the day,” he lamented.
According to him, the rising cost of goods and building materials has made it increasingly difficult for ordinary Nigerians to sustain their businesses and make meaningful profits.
He particularly expressed concern over the price of cement, claiming that a bag now costs ₦15,000. He compared the price with the income he generates from his farm, highlighting the financial pressure he faces while trying to keep his livelihood afloat.
The businessman’s experience reflects the difficulties some entrepreneurs face as they struggle with rising operating costs, limited profit margins and the challenge of maintaining sustainable businesses.
