Nigerian actress Damilola Oni has sparked a wave of reactions online following her appearance at the Lagos premiere of A Mama Deola Wedding Story on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
The actress became a major talking point after videos from the star-studded event surfaced on social media, with many viewers focusing on her choice of outfit for the occasion.
In the viral clip, Damilola was seen wearing a white lace gown with sheer detailing, sparkling embellishments, a plunging neckline and long sleeves. She confidently posed for the cameras outside the venue, flashing a smile as she enjoyed the moment.

A Mama Deola Wedding Story is the first movie in Folagade Banks’ Mama Deola franchise, which centres on her popular character and builds on the attention the character has received from audiences.
The comedy movie was directed by Femi Adebayo and features an impressive lineup of actors, including Shaffy Bello, Toyin Abraham, Bukky Wright, Akin Lewis, Erica Nlewedim, Omowunmi Dada, Rotimi Salami and veteran actress Idowu Phillips, popularly known as Mama Rainbow.
Following its Lagos premiere, the movie became available for streaming on Kava the next day.
