A group of 300-level Computer Engineering students at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, has developed an electronic walking aid designed to assist people living with visual impairment.
The students’ project has attracted attention online, with Nigerians praising the innovation and celebrating the talents coming from Nigerian universities.
The development has also sparked discussions about the need to support young innovators and provide them with opportunities to improve their ideas.
