The Nigerian government has reportedly entered into a secret ceasefire agreement with the Boko Haram faction led by Bakura Doro, according to a report by The New Humanitarian cited by Premium Times.
The alleged agreement is said to have helped keep parts of northeastern Nigeria relatively calm over the past three months, although questions have continued to emerge over the terms of the reported truce.
