Speaking during the church’s monthly Holy Ghost Service, Adeboye explained that Oluremi Tinubu was ordained as an Assistant Pastor over a decade ago. According to him, her ordination took place long before her husband, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, showed interest in contesting for the presidency.
Adeboye stressed that the First Lady followed all required procedures and fulfilled the spiritual and administrative conditions necessary for ordination within the RCCG. He noted that there has been no breach of the church’s doctrine or guidelines that would justify removing her from the position.
