Nigerian media personality Do2dtun has stirred fresh controversy after openly expressing interest in stepping into the ring for a celebrity boxing match this time against his former brother-in-law, D’banj.
The OAP made the bold declaration on X (formerly Twitter) while reacting to the trending celebrity bout between Carter Efe and Portable. Sharing his thoughts on the fight, Do2dtun appeared amused, noting that the skitmaker seemed to have the upper hand over the controversial singer.
However, things took a dramatic turn when a user suggested that the next big fight should involve him and D’banj. Rather than brushing it off, Do2dtun embraced the idea, responding with fiery confidence that he would gladly accept the challenge provided the financial terms were right.
“I’ll gladly. If he agrees and the money is good, I’m ready. I’ll beat him, I swear,” he wrote
This latest outburst adds another chapter to the long standing tension between the two. Back in 2024, during his 40th birthday celebration, Do2dtun made headlines when he instructed a DJ not to play any of D’banj’s songs at his party an action that further exposed the depth of their rift.
The fallout between both men is rooted in deeply personal issues. Do2dtun has previously accused D’banj of making an already difficult period in his life worse, particularly during his highly publicised custody battle with his ex-wife, Omotayo—who is D’banj’s younger sister.

He claimed that despite standing by D’banj during the tragic loss of his son, the singer later turned against him, allegedly using his children as a tool for conflict. The situation escalated legally, with a court in Abuja reportedly restraining Do2dtun from making defamatory statements about the singer, while also ordering an investigation into a complaint filed by D’banj.
Despite the legal tensions, Do2dtun has maintained that he has only spoken the truth, accusing the music star of playing power games against him.
With emotions still running high, his latest boxing challenge has reignited public interest in their strained relationship, leaving many wondering whether this feud could actually spill into the ring.
