Nigerian lady has sparked reactions on social media after sharing her thoughts on how much money men spend on women, admitting that she would be extremely stingy if she were a man.
In a statement that has generated conversations online, the lady said she sometimes looks at her bank account balance and wonders how men are able to afford spending money on women.
According to her, the financial demands that may come with dating and relationships make her appreciate how much men spend to keep their partners happy.
She said she would find it difficult to part with her money if she were in a man’s position, adding that she would rather be stingy than spend heavily on a woman.
In her words:
“If I were a man, I would be so stingy. Because sometimes I look at my account balance and I’m like, If I were a man where would I get money to spend on woman?”
Her comment has since drawn attention, with her remarks likely to spark further conversations about financial expectations in relationships, dating expenses and the pressure men face when it comes to spending on their partners.
