A Nigerian man has sparked reactions online after expressing his reservations about purchasing a power station from social media activist VeryDarkMan, popularly known as VDM.
The man, who admitted that he would have loved to buy a power station from VDM’s Ratel brand, said he had one major concern about the purchase.
Explaining his reason, he said:
“I would have loved to buy VeryDarkMan power station, but I have one major concern. You know in Nigeria, when you have an issue with a business or someone sells you a bad product, you call VDM to help you fight for your rights.
But if I buy a Ratel power station from VDM and it eventually turns out to be faulty, who do I call to fight for me against VDM?”
His comment has sparked amusement online, with many finding humour in the dilemma of buying a product from someone Nigerians often turn to when they have issues with businesses.
