Social media activist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has publicly accused the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2, Moshood Jimoh, of corruption, daring the senior police officer to take legal action if his allegations are false.
In a video shared online, VDM made the allegations while insisting he was ready to defend his claims in court.
According to him:
“A.I.G. Moshood, you are a very corrupt man. I say this with my full chest. You are extremely corrupt and a threat to the justice system of this country. I am publicly challenging the current A.I.G. of Zone 2, Lagos, Moshood Jimoh. If he can prove that my allegations are false, then I should be charged to court for criminal defamation.”
The allegations have since sparked widespread reactions on social media, with Nigerians expressing mixed opinions on the activist’s bold remarks.
