A Nigerian man has triggered reactions online after posting what he described as an alleged list of requirements from a church for couples planning to get married.
The man, identified on Facebook as Oyeniran John, shared a photo of the document on his page and asked social media users to identify the church allegedly behind the list.
He captioned the post:
“Which Church is this oo.”
The document, which carries the heading “CHURCH DEMAND LIST,” contains various items, food provisions and payments that couples are allegedly expected to make or provide before their wedding ceremony.
Some of the reported demands include food and drinks for members of the church, fuel for the generator, transportation for the General Overseer, as well as other items.
The list breaks down the food requirements into different categories, including provisions for the church band, ministers and musicians.
It also allegedly states that the required items must be provided before the wedding ceremony, with a warning that the church’s music and sound systems would not be used if the demands were not met.
