Controversial Nigerian influencer and relationship coach Blessing Okoro, known as Blessing CEO, has issued a public apology over the backlash from her Stage 4 breast cancer claims.

In a video posted on Instagram on April 22, 2026, she expressed remorse, saying: “I am very sorry for the unnecessary drama and embarrassment surrounding my health issues.”

She apologised to her fans, loved ones, and all Nigerians, promising more transparency by sharing medical records, scan results, and biopsy details publicly similar to how she documented her previous liposuction and BBL procedures.

Okoro also offered full refunds to donors who contributed the sum of ₦13 million upon request via WhatsApp or DM with proof of payment.

The controversy erupted earlier this year when she announced her diagnosis and solicited support.

Doubts arose after allegations that her medical report was allegedly doctored from that of cancer survivor Deborah Mbara.

Okoro had earlier described the Stage 4 label as a “miscommunication” and initially refused to apologise, insisting she owed no one an explanation.

Netizens’ reactions have been mixed. Many welcomed the apology and refund gesture as a positive step, while others remain skeptical about its sincerity, demanding concrete proof of her health status and accountability for the emotional impact on real cancer patients.
