“Christians Have Contributed More To Nigeria’s Development”- Lady Fires Back At VeryDarkMan

A Nigerian lady has criticised controversial social commentator VeryDarkMan (VDM) over his recent comments concerning Apostle Arome Osayi and his views on the role of religion in Nigeria’s development.

In a statement circulating on social media, the woman accused VDM of mocking the cleric and questioned his criticism of Christianity.

She argued that Christians have made significant contributions to the development of Nigeria, citing philanthropic and business initiatives by prominent Christian figures as examples.

According to her, Pastor Jerry Eze recently provided grants worth hundreds of millions of naira to business owners, while Pastor Chris Oyakhilome had also announced plans to venture into automobile production.

She questioned why VDM had not highlighted such initiatives while discussing the role of religion in the country.

The woman further accused the social commentator of having an issue with Christianity, insisting that his criticism of the religion was the reason behind his recent comments.

Her remarks have added to the ongoing online debate over VDM’s views on religion, particularly his criticism of some Christian leaders and the role of religious institutions in addressing Nigeria’s social and economic challenges.

She said:

“VeryDarkMan Is Mocking Apostle Arome Osayi. That’s Rich Coming From An Idol Worshipper Like You. How Does Offering Sacrifices To Idols Contribute To The Development Of a Country? Christians Have Contributed More To The Development Of Nigeria Than Idol Worshippers. Just a Few Months Ago, Pastor Jerry Eze Gave Hundreds Of Millions Of Naira In Grants To Business Owners, And Pastor Chris Also Announced Plans To Produce Cars, But You Didn’t Talk About It. VDM, You Hate Christianity. That’s Your Main Problem.”
